Who we are
Our website address is:
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form. We also record the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
We may send an anonymized string (a hash) from your email address to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. You can find the Gravatar service privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After we approve your comment, your profile picture appears publicly next to it.
Media
If you upload images to the website, please remove any embedded location data (EXIF GPS) first. Otherwise, other visitors could download and extract location data from those images.
Cookies
When you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This way, you won’t need to re-enter your details for future comments. These cookies last for one year.
When you visit our login page, we place a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and disappears when you close your browser.
When you log in, we also set several cookies to store your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login stays active for two weeks. Once you log out, we remove the login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, we store an additional cookie in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only notes the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). This content works exactly as if you visited the other website directly.
These websites might collect your data, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor how you interact with that embedded content — including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in on their site.

How long we keep your data
If you leave a comment, we keep the comment and its metadata indefinitely. This helps us recognize and approve follow-up comments faster instead of placing them in a moderation queue.
If you register on our website (if available), we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can view, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except for your username). Website administrators can also access and update that information.
Your rights over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This doesn’t include any data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Nowhere.
